Repair
These are the tricky ones...
and definitely NOT a cosmetic fix!
Can My Windshield Be Repaired?
A repair is usually possible if:
-
The damage is under 1½ inches in size.
-
The point of impact is smaller than a dime.
-
There are no more than two impact points.
-
The damage does not interfere with a camera or ADAS safety sensor.
-
The chip is not located on the edge or border of the windshield.
Every windshield is different, so a technician will advise before recommending a repair.

The Honest Truth!!
We're always upfront with our customers (:
A windshield repair is designed to help stop and help from spreading and restore structural strength.
It is NOT a cosmetic repair.
The repair will still be visible.
Why?
Because your windshield is made of multiple thin layers of glass with a plastic laminate between them. The repair resin is clear, while the glass has a natural green tint. The damage can be improved—but it can never be made invisible.
Will It Spread?
Unfortunately... there's always a chance.
Even after a successful repair, changes in temperature, road vibrations, pressure, or simply everyday driving can cause the crack to continue spreading.
We'd love to guarantee otherwise... but we'd be lying :(
If It Does Spread...
We truly hope it doesn't!!! We don't like problems any more than you do! :)
However, because we cannot control how damaged glass reacts after impact, Senior Tech Auto Glass cannot be held responsible if the crack continues to expand after the repair.

We think that's the fairest way to stand behind our work while being honest about the limitations of glass repair.
